What is an Mp3?
It was designed by a team of European engineers to reduce audio file size, while not losing any of the sound quality of the original uncompressed recording in doing so.
MP3 stands for MPEG Audio Layer III and it is a standard for audio compression that makes any music file smaller with little or no loss of sound quality, or in even more simple terms:
an Mp3 player often weighing less then an ounce can carry thousands of songs that the owner has downloaded and stored into a personal playlist.
This allows all that music stored into that small device to be carried around on the person for ease of listening whenever and wherever they go.
Then there are the accessories to expand the use of your Mp3 player such as headphones, docking stations, speakers, FM transmitters, and devices enabling you to plug your Mp3 into your car stereo.
